PM Says Patriotism Is Best Demonstrated By Hard Work

KANDAL: In a meeting with factory workers in Takhmao City, Prime Minister Hun Manet laid out some key points of maintaining economic stability and told the laborers that their patriotism was best demonstrated through the hard work of building the future and their family.

On September 1, the PM addressed a crowd of nearly 20,000 working class Cambodians saying, "Patriotism is about trying to help yourself,” and stressed that it does not need to be openly demonstrated.

He also expressed his administration’s commitment to creating jobs so that people can better build a family economy. In addition to more jobs, he noted increasing benefits and social justice as priorities for maintaining economic stability.

"[We want to] help people have a stable economy by creating enough jobs and comprehensively boosting the economy in all areas and distributing the results to the people," he said.
